Change to digital

June 23 of 2025 the FMCSA changed the DOT physicals to a digital system. This means that after the exam I submit the results to the FMCSA. They send a copy to the state and you should not have to turn in a card to the state. You no longer have to carry a card since it will be digitally attached to your driver's license. I always print a copy of the exam. Employers and other people still want to see a copy of the card.
